Salon HALO Appointment & Cancellation Policy

We value your time and ours. To ensure we can provide the best service to all our clients, please review our policy:

Appointment and Cancellation Policy

  • 24-Hour Notice: To avoid a charge, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Late Cancellations/No-Shows: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service price. This helps us protect the time of our stylists and ensure we can accommodate other clients.
  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive after your scheduled time, we may need to reschedule or adjust your service to ensure we stay on track for other appointments. We will do our best to accommodate you whenever possible.

Stylist Adjustments

  • Our stylists continually grow through education and training. If you’d like a different perspective or prefer to see another stylist, we are happy to assist you in finding a stylist who fits your needs.

Refunds and Service Adjustments

At Salon HALO, client satisfaction is our priority. If you have any concerns about a service, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

  • Hair Services: While we do not provide monetary refunds for hair services, we are happy to make adjustments within 7 days of your appointment. 
  • Adjustments: Please contact us if you’d like an adjustment to your haircut or color.
  • Color Services: Adjustments are not applicable for corrective color appointments, as these often require multiple sessions. Artisan color services are guaranteed when professional products and aftercare are used as prescribed by your stylist.
  • Retail Products: Returns are accepted for retail items with little to no use. We encourage you to try another product from our selection if you’re unsure. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned.

Service Refunds: If a service is deemed unsatisfactory or not provided according to our standards, refunds will only be issued in the form of a credit to a service provider of the client’s choice at Salon HALO. The refund will be distributed to the selected provider, not directly to the client. This policy ensures that any adjustments to your service are made by a professional at the salon, maintaining the high quality and standards we strive to uphold. Please notify us as soon as possible if you feel a refund or adjustment is necessary. We are committed to ensuring you receive the best service and results.

Additional Notes

  • Service Animals: Registered service animals are welcome in the salon.
  • Children: Children must be accompanied by an adult while in the salon for their safety and to ensure all clients have a relaxing experience.
  • Model Services: Any adjustments for model services are available within 7 days.
  • Credit Card Surcharge: A 3% surcharge will be applied to all credit card transactions starting September 3, 2021. This surcharge is in compliance with Minnesota state law (325G.051) and is to cover the processing costs associated with card payments.  The surcharge will be communicated both verbally during the transaction and with a clearly posted sign at our salon to ensure transparency.The surcharge will not exceed 5% of the total purchase price, as outlined in the law.
